In 1906 heeft de Duitse kapper Karl-Ludwig Nessler de eerste chemische behandeling uitgevonden die het haar krult. De zogenaamde “Dauerwelle,” bij ons beter bekend als de permanent. Honderd jaar later is permanenten nog steeds populair. In 1909 heeft men Nessler een patent toegekend voor zijn “permanent.”
Wat is een permanent?
Een permanent kan je haar meer volume geven en ervoor zorgen dat je haar er dikker uitziet. Een permanent is een onomkeerbaar chemisch proces dat de haarstructuur compleet veranderd en dat je niet kunt terugdraaien! Het is aan te bevelen dit bij een goede kapper te laten doen. Niet onbelangrijk is ook de conditie van je haar. Het is onverstandig een permanent te laten zetten bij reeds behandeld (geverfd/ gekleurd / gehighlight) haar. Een permanent ondersteunt de natuurlijk haarkrul, dus ondersteunt het natuurlijke krulproces. Het gewenste resultaat (ondersteuning, veel of weinig krul) bepaalt welke wikkels en vloeistof er gebruikt worden en hoe lang de inwerktijd van de vloeistof daadwerkelijk moet zijn. Het is een samenspel van verschillende (niet onbelangrijke) factoren die uiteindelijk het resultaat bepalen.
